Listen yall Rich Auntie needs your help. I’m calling all my fellow Rich Aunties and Uncles!
Feminine hygiene products as we know are considered “luxury items.” And are taxed as such. This means many women who can’t afford these products have to use things like toilet paper, paper towels, napkins, and yes even leaves. It’s unsanitary and it’s not right. This is something I’ve been passionate about for YEARS.
Rich Auntie is bringing something back that I haven’t done in years. My (formally) annual Period Drive!
The last time I did this I collected over $300 in donations to purchase feminine hygiene products & even got a shoutout from Kotex!
It’s the holidays & I’m pledging that for every dollar I get donated, I’ll be matching $0.10 cents of it to use for the purchase of feminine hygiene products that will be distributed to women who can’t afford them, locally. Even if you can’t donate, please share! I want to do it even bigger this year.

The Period Project
-
Tampons
Tampons are female hygiene products that are used to absorb blood during the menstrual cycle. They are convenient, small, and extremely portable. This is a great option for women on the go. The Period Project is accepting money for tampon donations in the amount of $5.00
-
Menstrual Cups
Menstrual cups are a relatively newer way to manage a period. They are hygienic, and reusable cups that are inserted and emptied as necessary. The Period Project is hoping to collect and distribute as many of these as possible since they are so reusable. Raven realizes that these are a little more expensive but if you’re interested in donating, she is accepting donations in the amount of $10.00.

Sanitary Pads
Pads are probably the most recognized, and used item for controlling bleeding. They come in a variety of sizes, and can manage different flows. Perfect for overnight use, or quick changes on the go. The Period Project is asking for donations of $3.00 to purchase pads.
